Past Work - Gardens
This is a gallery of work that is inspired by the garden. Some are private home gardens and some are public gardens. I am inspired by the colours and textures and by the way people arrange plantings to adjust nature to their liking.
Note: Some of these images are from slides that were taken before digital cameras were available so they may not be perfectly sharp.

There Might be Faeries
I think there could be faeries in this garden.

MostElegantDitchflowers
These flowers were in the ditch but they considered themselves so elegant that they needed a lace border.

Summer in the Park
An image from Riley Park in Calgary. It has the most fabulous gardens filled with my favorite blue delphiniums.

Frosty Day Crabapple
One on the many shapely crabapple trees found in older parts of Edmonton. I love it when flocks of cedar waxwing birds swoop down on the old dried apples in the winter.

My Aunt's Garden
A garden in Elnora, Alberta tended by our Aunt Joan.

Sunflowers
Sunflower still life inspired by Flemish paintings. See the two bugs?
